NOT AWARDED SESCAL/AMERICAS 08, the first Intercontinental Exhibition held in the US, was of unusual nature and very large size. Due to the large number of exhibit awards to be presented at the Palmares Banquet, the FPCSC Distinguished Service Award Selection Committee felt that it would not be possible to properly honor an award recipient. Thus, it was decided not to award the Distinguished Service Award in 2008, which is allowed for in the FPCSC Bylaws. It is expected that the Service Award will be awarded at SESCAL 2009. |
